- Ensure effective labor management, including staffing, scheduling, and productivity optimization.
- Provide leadership in enhancing the patient experience and achieving optimal outcomes through strategic initiatives.
- Support employee engagement and development through training, coaching, and performance feedback.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Cultivate a superior clinical identity by implementing evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to standards of care and regulatory compliance across emergency services.
- Develop care coordination policies to improve quality, safety, and efficiency in patient care.
- Monitor department budget performance and implement actions to address performance gaps.
- Direct nursing practice and unit operations, ensuring patient and family needs are met effectively.
- Leverage feedback mechanisms to benchmark performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance patient experience and customer service.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care emergency department leadership experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma facility.
- Proven ability to inspire and lead teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Experience in budget management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency improvement.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and evidence-based practices in emergency care.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to engage and develop staff effectively.
- Ability to manage high-acuity patient care environments and drive quality outcomes.
- Preferred certifications in emergency nursing or trauma care management.
