Job Description

Overview

  • Perform physical and administrative tasks in the Kitting Room under direct supervision.
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance and delivery of materials for production.
  • Maintain workflow to meet demand while adhering to FDA and cGMP procedures.
  • Operate systems and equipment including computers, software, and printers as trained.
  • Perform material pre-issuance tasks such as silicone mixture preparation and siliconizing raw materials.
  • Participate in team meetings and production training to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assist other departments, including warehouse operations like packaging, shipping, and receiving.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, ensuring safety adherence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Accurately perform ERP system transactions for material movements.
  • Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other transport equipment.
  • Conduct end-of-shift cleanup tasks, including workstation cleaning and trash removal.
  • Communicate workplace issues or concerns with management following proper protocols.
  • Train team members on work instructions and ensure training deadlines are met.
  • Participate in cycle counts, housekeeping, stocking, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure safety awareness and adherence to minimize risks.
  • Perform general duties to support production and warehouse operations.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Dynamics/AX software or SAP.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and business environment software applications.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and work independently or in a team.
  • Stand-up and sit-down forklift operation experience is a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift and transfer loads up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
