Overview

  • Serve as a key contributor in pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance and optimizing benefit solutions for clients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement pharmacy benefits tailored to client needs and regulatory standards.
  • Provide expert support for escalated issues, delivering effective solutions and maintaining operational excellence.
  • Lead initiatives to audit and update pharmacy benefit plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance regulations.
  • Manage project plans and deadlines, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery of objectives.
  • Engage in activities focused on client retention and acquisition, addressing benefit-related concerns effectively.
  • Analyze compliance issues and implement resolutions, ensuring timely dissemination of updates.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and implement pharmacy benefits, collaborating with internal teams to achieve optimal solutions.
  • Support escalated and complex issues, ensuring resolution and operational efficiency.
  • Lead annual projects to refresh and optimize pharmacy benefit offerings.
  • Audit prescription drug benefit plans for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Engage in client retention and sales activities, addressing benefit-related concerns effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy operations or a related field; 7 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefits, compliance regulations, and operational management.
  • Proficiency in project management, including maintaining detailed project plans and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to audit benefit setups and ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Experience in client retention and sales support activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address compliance and operational challenges.
