Job Description

Overview

  • Drive the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reports adhering to GAAP/IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee internal controls and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with auditors and cross-functional teams to facilitate audits and regulatory submissions.
  • Lead consolidation processes, including intercompany reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Enhance reporting processes through automation and adoption of best practices.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Provide financial insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate and manage external and internal audits efficiently.
  • Ensure timely preparation of statutory reports and regulatory filings.
  • Analyze financial results and provide detailed variance analysis and insights.
  • Maintain and improve documentation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Implement process improvements and automation in reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and operational teams for alignment.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting their professional development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • CPA, ACCA, or CA designation is preferred for enhanced qualifications.
  • 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
