Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the clinical nursing team in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the perioperative department.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage day-to-day clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Title 22.
  • Develop and implement unit strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff to achieve professional growth and excellence.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Facilitate staff development and promote a positive work environment.
  • Evaluate and sustain clinical competence for diverse patient populations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Current California RN license and BLS provider card mandatory.
  • National certification in clinical area of expertise preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of acute hospital experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in regulatory compliance and supervisory principles.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills required.
  • Ability to manage staff and lead departmental culture change effectively.
  • Physical capability to perform administrative and patient care tasks.
