Overview

  • Work as a Dispatcher for a leading industry organization, managing dispatch operations and ensuring efficient service delivery.
  • Coordinate field workers for elevator maintenance projects, handling inbound calls and scheduling tasks effectively.
  • Prepare and manage proposals, invoices, and maintain organized files and documentation.
  • Collaborate with a team of dispatchers to ensure coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Work on-site with a schedule of 7am-4pm, including occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Utilize your proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word to perform administrative tasks.
  • Engage with blue-collar workers, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Handle heavy inbound call volume from vendors requiring maintenance services.
  • Dispatch field workers to elevator maintenance projects, ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Prepare and send proposals, book signed proposals, and manage related documentation.
  • Send invoices for completed proposal work and maintain organized proposal files.
  • Collaborate with a team of dispatchers to provide coverage and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Work with Microsoft Excel and Word for administrative and documentation tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with blue-collar workers, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
  • Adapt to a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent educational background.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 3 years preferred in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for administrative tasks.
  • Strong communication skills with a clear speaking voice and ability to engage effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site with a schedule of 7am-4pm, including occasional weekends and holidays.
  • Experience handling inbound calls and dispatching field workers preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing proposals and invoices.
