Overview

  • Lead and oversee Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and professional practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide expert guidance and solutions tailored to their specific audit needs.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of audit strategies and methodologies.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering professional growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of Employee Benefit Plans, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop audit plans and procedures in alignment with industry standards.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with clients to address audit findings and implement corrective measures.
  • Supervise and train audit team members, ensuring effective execution of tasks.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EBP audit regulations and standards.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities for additional services.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably with Employee Benefit Plans.
  • Strong understanding of EBP audit regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills in audit environments.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
