Overview

  • Lead construction projects for a regional design-build firm specializing in steel buildings and private negotiated projects.
  • Manage diverse projects, including healthcare renovations, church constructions, and tilt-wall warehouses.
  • Ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met effectively.
  • Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Utilize expertise in pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs) and tilt-wall construction techniques.
  • Contribute to the firm's reputation for quality and negotiated project delivery.
  • Participate in strategic planning and resource allocation for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning to completion.
  • Coordinate with design teams to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Monitor construction progress and address any issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Implement quality control measures to uphold project standards.
  • Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in managing pre-engineered metal buildings and tilt-wall construction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.
  • Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Familiarity with healthcare renovation and conversion projects is advantageous.
