Job Description

Overview

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java, Eclipse, and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure testability and quality in a matrix organization structure.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Perform security testing validation against DoD standards including NIST, RMF, and DoD CC SRG.
  • Support load and performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Document test automation processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain testing artifacts in Jira and Confluence.
  • Mentor team members on automation best practices and emerging testing technologies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Convert existing TestComplete test scripts to Java/Selenium framework using AI-assisted tools and manual refactoring.
  • Design and implement automated test suites for web applications, APIs, and database validation.
  • Execute automated regression, integration, and performance testing in AWS/Azure cloud environments.
  • Maintain test data management strategies and automated test reporting dashboards.
  • Perform security testing validation against DoD standards including NIST, RMF, and DoD CC SRG.
  • Support load and performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Document test automation processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain testing artifacts in Jira and Confluence.
  • Mentor team members on automation best practices and emerging testing technologies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming and Eclipse IDE.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and automated testing workflows.
  • Knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies and version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies.
  • Security+ certification required within 3-6 months of hire.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
