Overview

  • Direct the operations of outpatient cardiovascular services, ensuring exceptional patient care and clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance referral pathways and service delivery across multiple sites.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to expand access through innovative care models, including telehealth and hybrid approaches.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, equity, and satisfaction for both patients and providers.
  • Implement process improvements to optimize clinic workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain high standards of clinical operations.
  • Utilize data analytics for informed decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Manage budgets effectively, focusing on resource allocation and revenue optimization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of cardiovascular clinics, ensuring safe and reliable service delivery.
  • Standardize workflows and coordinate pre-procedure workups for invasive cardiology and vascular procedures.
  • Monitor clinical quality measures and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Develop outreach programs to enhance care coordination and referral systems.
  • Recruit, train, and retain high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Sponsor readiness for new technologies and programs aligned with strategic goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain staff competency validation.
  • Utilize dashboards and digital tools to track KPIs and optimize clinic operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in cardiovascular service line operations.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience managing multi-site clinics and cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Proven expertise in financial management and process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and HIPAA compliance.
  • Preferred certifications include CMPE, FACHE, CPHQ, Lean/Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
  • Experience with device clinic operations and ambulatory rhythm diagnostics.
  • Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner) and clinic template optimization.
