Overview

  • Lead strategic recruitment efforts for a dynamic construction organization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and talent acquisition needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to design and implement innovative recruitment strategies tailored to specific project requirements.
  • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives, enhancing workforce representation and fostering an inclusive company culture.
  • Utilize advanced recruitment tools and technologies to streamline processes and improve hiring efficiency.
  • Engage with regional offices and project sites to understand unique talent needs and build strong relationships.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on recruitment metrics, pipeline health, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to assess talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Conduct competency-based interviews to evaluate candidates' skills and alignment with organizational values.
  • Organize and lead recruitment events to attract top-tier candidates and promote the organization's brand.
  • Utilize CRM and ATS platforms to manage candidate pipelines and track recruitment metrics.
  • Negotiate offers and collaborate with HR partners to finalize hiring decisions.
  • Travel to project sites to engage with field leadership and address specific hiring needs.
  • Implement targeted diversity recruitment strategies to enhance workforce inclusivity.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies during recruitment activities and site visits.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; HR or recruitment certifications are advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of recruitment experience, with 2+ years in agency or corporate settings preferred.
  • Proficiency in full life-cycle recruiting and advanced sourcing methodologies.
  • Experience with CRM systems, ATS platforms, and labor market analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage recruitment processes independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the region for recruitment activities.
  • Familiarity with construction industry recruitment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to thrive in high-performance environments and adapt to dynamic work conditions.
