It Training Manager

Overview

• Lead the development and delivery of firmwide technology training programs.
• Ensure attorneys and staff effectively utilize firm technology systems.
• Collaborate with IT, HR, and Practice Management to assess training needs.
• Develop training materials, guides, and on-demand resources.
• Support technology rollouts and upgrades through structured training initiatives.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and improve programs based on feedback.
• Manage training schedules and learning content repositories.
• Ensure timely onboarding and systems adoption for new hires.
• Translate complex technical concepts into practical, user-focused learning.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and implement a comprehensive technology training program.
• Deliver training on core systems, applications, workflows, and best practices.
• Support technology rollouts through change management initiatives.
• Oversee onboarding processes to ensure consistent systems adoption.
• Create and maintain training documentation and resources.
• Manage training schedules and participation tracking.
• Collaborate with departments to address skill gaps and training needs.
• Evaluate and improve training programs based on feedback and metrics.
• Ensure training aligns with the firm’s technology strategy and objectives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in training or instructional design.
• Experience in a professional services environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of law firm systems and workflows.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with multitasking capabilities.
• Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Experience delivering technology-focused training to professionals preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels.
