Overview

- Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resources to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Cultivate a superior clinical identity by implementing evidence-based practices to advance patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Develop and execute patient throughput strategies, including capacity planning and admission/discharge coordination.
- Ensure consistent, positive patient interactions to differentiate the organization as a healthcare leader.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve employee performance and engagement.
- Identify opportunities for service expansion and technological advancements to drive differentiation and growth.
- Monitor department budget performance and implement actions to address variances and achieve savings.
- Ensure effective labor management, including scheduling excellence and productivity optimization.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care director experience; 5 years preferred.
- Proven leadership in emergency services and familiarity with FSED operations.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient safety, and quality standards.
- Experience in budget management, labor optimization, and cost reduction strategies.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to enhance patient experience and service delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and engagement.
