Overview

  • Lead and manage diverse commercial construction projects with budgets ranging from $500k to $30M.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Apply civil and foundation engineering expertise to address technical challenges and optimize construction processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines throughout project phases.
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on project goals.
  • Contribute to K-12 construction projects, leveraging relevant experience to meet specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets for ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely achievement of project milestones.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
  • Resolve technical issues related to civil and foundation engineering aspects of construction projects.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports to stakeholders and management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations at all project stages.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers on project-specific requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with design teams to optimize construction processes and achieve project efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Proficiency in civil and foundation engineering principles and applications.
  • Experience with construction projects ranging from $500k to $30M in scope.
  • Preferred experience in K-12 construction projects, though not mandatory.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
