Job Description

Overview

  • Support comprehensive accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across domestic and international branches.
  • Perform reconciliations, variance analyses, and financial reporting to maintain organizational financial integrity.
  • Assist with tax filings and audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to month-end closings and budget preparations for strategic financial planning.
  • Document and update accounting policies to enhance operational consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with branch offices and departments to streamline financial processes and operations.
  • Engage in special projects, including real estate filings and government surveys, to support organizational goals.
  • Leverage hybrid work flexibility to optimize productivity and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct detailed reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Analyze expense variances to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare schedules and documentation for audits, ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Support tax analyses and filings to meet regulatory requirements effectively.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive accounting policies and procedures documentation.
  • Assist in month-end close processes and annual budget preparation for robust financial planning.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, contributing to organizational development and compliance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; law firm or public accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with Elite 3E, Sage Fixed Asset System, and Essbase preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Attention to detail and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a hybrid work environment.
  • Experience in financial analysis, audit preparation, and policy documentation.
