Overview

  • Lead financial operations, including accounting, payroll, billing, and accounts payable, within a dynamic healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of accounting, payroll, billing, and accounts payable functions.
  • Lead monthly financial close processes and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Coordinate audits, regulatory filings, and compliance efforts effectively.
  • Collaborate with the CFO on financial system upgrades and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial workflows and operations.
  • Maintain strong internal controls to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Support cross-departmental projects to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to drive financial and operational excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting leadership roles; 7 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, billing, and accounts payable processes.
  • Experience with system upgrades and process optimization initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills to develop and manage teams effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
