Application Developer

Overview

• Develop and maintain application programs by analyzing functional and technical requirements and creating detailed specifications.
• Conduct coding, debugging, testing, and configuration tasks to ensure efficient and effective software solutions.
• Perform unit testing to validate application functionality and reliability.
• Utilize programming, scripting, and database languages to produce optimized code.
• Create comprehensive application documentation, including process and data flow diagrams.
• Support the implementation, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of applications.
• Work independently and assume team lead responsibilities when required.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director of Global Applications to align development efforts with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Analyze functional and technical requirements to develop detailed application specifications.

• Conduct unit testing to ensure application reliability and functionality.
• Utilize programming and scripting languages to produce efficient and optimized code.
• Develop application documentation, including process and data flow diagrams.
• Provide support for application implementation, enhancement, integration, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
• Lead technical teams and provide guidance on complex technical and business matters.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in application development and related areas.
• Proficiency in programming, scripting, and database languages.
• Strong analytical skills to assess functional and technical requirements.
• Experience in creating detailed application documentation and diagrams.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical teams effectively.
• Familiarity with hybrid work environments and collaborative tools.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.
