Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic organization as a Part-Time Accounts Payable professional on a temporary basis.
  • Support financial operations during a critical period of transition and medical leave coverage.
  • Work three days per week, with flexibility for remote work on Wednesdays.
  • Handle incoming mail for vendor invoices and ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Collaborate with the Controller and CDO for guidance and support.
  • Utilize ERP systems, preferably Blackbaud Financial Edge, for accounts payable tasks.
  • Contribute to a seamless financial workflow during a 7-8 week assignment.
  • Engage in virtual interviews for quick onboarding and start.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process incoming electronic and hard copy invoices for payment accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct two check runs per week and manage ACH payments and check issuance.
  • Handle student reimbursement payments, averaging 2-5 per week.
  • Open and sort incoming mail to identify vendor invoices for processing.
  • Collaborate with the Controller and CDO for process-related inquiries and support.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.
  • Utilize ERP systems, preferably Blackbaud Financial Edge, for accounts payable operations.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all financial transactions.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or related financial experience.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience in accounts payable or financial operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with preference for Blackbaud Financial Edge.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate invoice processing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Effective communication skills for virtual interviews and team collaboration.
  • Availability to work Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday during standard business hours.
