Job Description

Overview

  • Provide technical support for cardiovascular procedures in a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical workflows and standards in a startup environment.
  • Operate advanced imaging and monitoring systems during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Assist physicians with device deployment and patient monitoring during procedures.
  • Participate in accreditation readiness activities and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support inventory management and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a close-knit team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities as the center expands operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Scrub and circulate for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
  • Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging and recording equipment.
  • Prepare sterile fields and assist with vascular access site management.
  • Monitor and document patient hemodynamics during procedures.
  • Participate in the development of procedural protocols and clinical workflows.
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
  • Contribute to staff education and cross-training efforts.
  • Assist in scaling operations from single-room to dual-room capacity.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
  • RCIS or CVT credential, or eligibility to sit for the exam within six months.
  • Minimum of one year of cath lab experience; two years preferred.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency with cath lab imaging systems and hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Experience in a startup ASC environment is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Strong adaptability and collaboration skills in a high-growth setting.
