Overview
- Manage payroll operations for diverse staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in processing.
- Coordinate expatriate payroll processes, including housing allowances, tax calculations, and international transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll inquiries and provide expert support.
- Prepare and reconcile deductions, adjustments, and garnishments using advanced payroll systems.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Assist with year-end processes, including compliance audits and W-2 updates.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive payroll information.
- Support financial operations with banking balance reviews and direct deposit management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Process payroll for U.S. staff, including onboarding, terminations, and salary adjustments.
- Administer tax filings, salary verifications, and unemployment claims with regulatory compliance.
- Review payroll outputs for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate expatriate payroll audits and updates with Global Mobility teams.
- Prepare payroll funding, including taxes, direct deposits, and checks.
- Develop and run custom reports to support payroll analysis and decision-making.
- Assist with payroll audits and contribute to special projects as assigned.
- Resolve technical issues with payroll systems to ensure seamless operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent experience in payroll processing.
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, including multi-state and global payroll.
- Proficiency in ADP systems and handling W-2C adjustments.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate payroll calculations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including vlookups, pivot tables, and data validation.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and tax laws.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Experience with expatriate payroll and international operations preferred.
