Job Description

Overview

  • Manage payroll operations for diverse staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in processing.
  • Coordinate expatriate payroll processes, including housing allowances, tax calculations, and international transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll inquiries and provide expert support.
  • Prepare and reconcile deductions, adjustments, and garnishments using advanced payroll systems.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Assist with year-end processes, including compliance audits and W-2 updates.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive payroll information.
  • Support financial operations with banking balance reviews and direct deposit management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process payroll for U.S. staff, including onboarding, terminations, and salary adjustments.
  • Administer tax filings, salary verifications, and unemployment claims with regulatory compliance.
  • Review payroll outputs for accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate expatriate payroll audits and updates with Global Mobility teams.
  • Prepare payroll funding, including taxes, direct deposits, and checks.
  • Develop and run custom reports to support payroll analysis and decision-making.
  • Assist with payroll audits and contribute to special projects as assigned.
  • Resolve technical issues with payroll systems to ensure seamless operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or equivalent experience in payroll processing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, including multi-state and global payroll.
  • Proficiency in ADP systems and handling W-2C adjustments.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail for accurate payroll calculations.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including vlookups, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local wage and tax laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Experience with expatriate payroll and international operations preferred.
