Overview

  • Lead fund accounting operations within private markets, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and support strategic investment decisions.
  • Drive finance transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and analytics capabilities.
  • Provide expertise in investment structuring, valuation, and cash management strategies.
  • Support strategic decision-making through actionable insights on market value fluctuations and investment performance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to articulate complex financial structures and data effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational values and principles in all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate with investment teams to provide finance expertise during transactions and investment structuring.
  • Manage financial due diligence processes and review findings for investments and restructurings.
  • Oversee investment holding platforms and ensure compliance with reporting requirements and standards.
  • Analyze surplus cash and lead repatriation initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Conduct market valuations and deliver insights to inform strategic investment decisions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to maintain accuracy and compliance in financial operations.
  • Implement finance improvement initiatives to drive transformation objectives and operational excellence.
  • Liaise with banks and operational teams to fulfill funding requirements effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA preferred.
  • 7-15 years of relevant experience, including audit or transaction advisory roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of deal closing mechanisms and investment structures.
  • Fluency in Portuguese is preferred for regional collaboration and communication.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills; adept at managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with asset managers or private equity firms is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
