Project Architect

Overview

• Contribute to architectural projects in education, office, hospitality, and commercial sectors, ensuring design excellence and functionality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.
• Manage project phases from concept development to construction documentation and administration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop architectural designs for diverse projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to integrate technical aspects into designs.
• Prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, and material selections.
• Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address any design-related issues.
• Participate in client meetings to present design concepts and gather feedback.
• Ensure projects adhere to budgetary and scheduling constraints.
• Utilize BIM tools to enhance design accuracy and collaboration.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and presentations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design; 5 years preferred.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in sustainable design practices and LEED certification is a plus.
