Job Description

Overview

  • Provide HR operational support focusing on onboarding and compliance tasks for new hires.
  • Ensure accurate processing of offer letters, payroll setups, and compliance documentation.
  • Present comprehensive employee benefit information during onboarding and enrollment periods.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records in the HRIS database, ensuring data integrity.
  • Support employee communications throughout the employee lifecycle, promoting engagement.
  • Assist in adherence to regulatory and internal HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide backup support for HR compliance tasks as assigned by management.
  • Participate in special HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Implement onboarding practices, including offer letter delivery, payroll setup, and compliance documentation processing.
  • Provide detailed employee benefit overviews during onboarding and open enrollment periods.
  • Ensure accurate data entry of personnel information into HRIS systems for hire packets and benefits programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits programs and agency policies promptly.
  • Coordinate with outsourced benefits administrators for enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Oversee time and attendance systems, implementing paid time off policies and tracking efficiencies.
  • Provide backup support for security background functions and other HR compliance tasks.
  • Contribute to ad hoc HR-related projects and initiatives as requested.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct HR or recruiting experience; familiarity with personnel administration preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to manage customer service requests professionally and accurately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other HR database systems.
  • Experience in independently implementing and enhancing operational processes.
  • Ability to work on-site during standard business hours with flexibility as needed.
  • Capacity to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
