Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Gather and analyze requirements by partnering with developers and business users to scope projects effectively.
  • Design and develop applications emphasizing reliability, scalability, and user-focused functionality.
  • Deliver comprehensive product specifications and provide training for system use and maintenance.
  • Support user acceptance testing, managing defect triage and resolution processes.
  • Provide production support, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing enhancements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in system architecture and workflows to optimize performance.
  • Develop workflow tools and automation initiatives to support operational teams effectively.
  • Collaborate on capturing and managing prices for derivative instruments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with 1 year in financial services preferred.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, Git/Subversion, NuGet, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with MVC.Net, Angular or Vue, WebAPI, REST, and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Unit Testing, Concurrency, MOM, SOA, and software development lifecycle phases.
  • Preferred skills include .NET Core, .NET Standard, functional programming, and financial modeling.
  • Excel power user capabilities and familiarity with FinCAD or QuantLib are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
