Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Serve as the project manager for assigned event programs, ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate logistics with venues, hotels, contractors, and production teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Manage functional areas such as food and beverage, transportation, and temporary staffing.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Provide operational expertise in accessibility, health and safety, and environmental design for events.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align event objectives with business goals.
- Proactively resolve challenges and adapt to shifting priorities during event planning and execution.
- Maintain strong interpersonal relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in live event planning and execution within agency or corporate environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in project management with a proven ability to multitask and resolve challenges independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Preferred certifications: CMP, CSEP, or CMM.
- Experience in field marketing and sales-oriented event programs is advantageous.
- Flexibility to travel up to 30% and work occasional weekends as required.
