Overview
- Support litigation practice group with administrative tasks and document preparation.
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with conflict checks and engagement letters.
- Maintain calendars, contact lists, and coordinate meetings and conferences.
- Prepare business development materials, including presentations and proposals.
- Review and ensure accuracy of monthly billing and compliance with engagement terms.
- Upload documents and correspondence adhering to firm procedures.
- Coordinate CLE training classes and manage administrative duties.
- Provide proofreading support for grammatical and typographical errors.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform conflict checks and prepare related documentation with accuracy.
- Support attorneys with calendar management and meeting arrangements.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and expense reimbursements.
- Assist in business development activities, including client follow-ups.
- Review billing for accuracy and adherence to special terms.
- Proofread and prepare documents for internal and external communication.
- Ensure compliance with firm procedures for document management.
- Provide administrative support for CLE training coordination.
- Adapt to dynamic work environments and prioritize tasks effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
