Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Systems Accountant, managing financial systems and processes for a leading organization.
  • Coordinate monthly accounting closings, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Maintain the PeopleSoft general ledger system, including chart of accounts and reporting structures.
  • Assist in cost allocations across subsidiaries and intercompany billing processes.
  • Collaborate with management to refine accounting policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and inclusive workplace with growth opportunities.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and Word skills to enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage the PeopleSoft general ledger system, ensuring its functionality and security.
  • Coordinate monthly financial closings, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Develop and maintain accounting reports, queries, and policies.
  • Assist in cost allocation processes across multiple subsidiaries.
  • Support intercompany billing and financial reconciliation tasks.
  • Collaborate with accounting management on strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
  • Provide analytical insights to improve financial operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Initiative and professionalism in handling accounting tasks.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft or similar accounting systems preferred.
