Job Description

Overview

  • Lead lateral recruitment initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Collaborate with partners and recruitment agencies to identify and secure top-tier candidates.
  • Analyze hiring trends and attrition rates to optimize recruitment processes and strategies.
  • Coordinate onboarding and integration processes with Talent Management and Conflicts teams.
  • Monitor market conditions to provide insights and recommendations for recruitment improvements.
  • Manage communication and logistics for the Visiting Lawyers Program, including LL.M. Job Fairs.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive recruitment matters.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation related to recruitment activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee lateral hiring processes, including agency coordination, scheduling, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and headhunters.
  • Perform statistical analysis on recruitment data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Managing Partners to assess practice group needs and candidate suitability.
  • Coordinate communication and logistics for the Visiting Lawyers Program.
  • Participate in recruitment events, such as LL.M. Job Fairs, to attract top talent.
  • Provide regular progress reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements in recruitment processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts (BA) with a minimum of 8 years of recruiting experience.
  • Preferred 10 years of recruiting experience, ideally within a law firm environment.
  • Strong organizational, supervisory, and interpersonal skills to manage complex recruitment processes.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and reporting for recruitment metrics.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
  • Experience in managing recruitment events and programs, such as job fairs.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
