Overview

  • Support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a cutting-edge ambulatory care setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and procedural efficiency.
  • Collaborate with a skilled healthcare team to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care in a dynamic environment.
  • Operate and maintain advanced imaging and monitoring equipment, ensuring high-quality procedural support.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, adhering to sterile techniques and precision standards.
  • Contribute to accreditation readiness and quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of care.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in cardiovascular technology.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, radiation safety protocols, and best practices in cardiovascular care.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Scrub and circulate during cardiovascular procedures, including PCI and electrophysiology studies, ensuring procedural efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields, instrument trays, and procedural supplies for optimal workflow.
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging and recording systems to support accurate diagnostics and interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient hemodynamics, ensuring precise data collection and analysis.
  • Assist in vascular access site management and post-procedure care to ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in developing clinical protocols and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support accreditation readiness activities and compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
  • Contribute to staff education and cross-training initiatives to foster team development.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field required.
  • RCIS or CVT credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within six months.
  • Minimum of one year of cath lab experience; two years preferred for advanced proficiency.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory for patient safety and care.
  • Proficiency with cath lab imaging, hemodynamic monitoring, and recording systems required.
  • Experience in an ambulatory care or startup environment is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with state healthcare regulations and accreditation standards preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred for effective communication.
