Overview

  • Lead revenue cycle operations across multiple healthcare facilities, ensuring seamless scheduling, registration, and financial counseling processes.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams to optimize revenue cycle efficiency and enhance operational outcomes.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to improve payor trends, AR management, and cash flow performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health plan requirements and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced computer systems, including Epic and Meditech, to streamline processes.
  • Provide leadership in managing blended onshore and offshore operational models.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and implement strategies for revenue cycle optimization.
  • Support clinical documentation and coding teams to ensure accurate revenue cycle reporting.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute regional revenue cycle strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and patient financial services.
  • Coordinate with HIM, Coding, Utilization Review, and Charge Master teams.
  • Monitor and manage payor trends, AR performance, and cash flow metrics.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce denials and improve revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure seamless operations and results.
  • Maintain effective communication with healthcare facilities and stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of hospital revenue cycle management experience required.
  • Proficiency in Epic and Meditech systems is essential.
  • Strong analytical and advanced computer skills required.
  • Experience in managing blended onshore and offshore operational models preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of health plan requirements and revenue cycle processes is essential.
