Job Description

Overview

  • Support the funding application process for educational institutions under the E-Rate program.
  • Collaborate with account managers and analysts to ensure compliance with program guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting funding applications to secure discounts for schools and libraries.
  • Monitor application progress and address any issues that arise during the process.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Contribute to the success of educational initiatives by facilitating access to technology resources.
  • Work in a collaborative, on-site environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and submit E-Rate funding applications in compliance with program regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of documentation and correspondence related to the E-Rate program.
  • Monitor application statuses and follow up on pending inquiries or issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information for applications.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding E-Rate processes and requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations governing the E-Rate program.
  • Support administrative tasks with a focus on customer service and detail orientation.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience, with 4 years preferred in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone etiquette.
  • Familiarity with E-Rate program guidelines and processes is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
