Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Coordinate patient care delivery, ensuring optimal outcomes and satisfaction.
- Manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient resource utilization.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and compliance.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Collaborate with leadership to align departmental goals with organizational mission.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution; MSN preferred.
- Current Montana RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in surgical services nursing and leadership roles.
- Advanced certifications: BLS upon hire; PALS and ACLS within six months.
- Proven ability to develop and implement departmental programs and initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, disease processes, and pharmacological agents.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage and mentor staff.
- Experience in budget management and compliance with healthcare regulations.
