Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and implement physical therapy intervention plans tailored to individual needs.
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to gather data for treatment planning.
• Perform specialized assessments for children requiring advanced interventions.
• Document therapy services accurately for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Adhere to ethical standards and organizational policies in all practices.
• Maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas to ensure safety and functionality.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants and students during service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to maintain licensure.

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active New York State Physical Therapy License.
• Experience or training in pediatric physical therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy ethics and standards of practice.
• Strong documentation skills for compliance and reporting.
• Ability to supervise and mentor assistants and students effectively.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
