Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operational performance and ensure compliance with clinical research guidelines and regulations.
  • Provide on-site oversight for clinical research activities, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to meet study milestones and deliver quality data.
  • Oversee site staff, ensuring proper training and adherence to protocols.
  • Manage site operations, including staffing, payroll, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address emerging risks.
  • Ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in strategic planning and management meetings.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Drive site performance and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with department leaders to achieve study objectives.
  • Monitor dashboards and systems to oversee site activities and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, GCP, FDA regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage site staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with investigators to ensure patient safety and study goals.
  • Identify risks and implement solutions to maintain study deliverables.
  • Prepare and present reports in management meetings.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years in clinical research, with 2 years in management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and electronic health records.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience managing site operations and achieving KPIs.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
