Job Description

Overview

  • Lead dermatology-focused clinical research studies, advancing medical innovation in skin health and treatment.
  • Serve as the primary medical authority for site-level study operations and participant safety.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, clinical teams, and research participants to ensure study success.
  • Provide expert clinical interpretation for subject data, lab results, and biopsy reports.
  • Mentor and lead Sub-Investigators and clinical research team members.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GCP standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in recruitment and screening of study subjects.
  • Flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules based on study requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee the conduct of dermatology research studies, ensuring participant safety and protocol adherence.
  • Conduct or supervise study procedures, ensuring staff qualifications and training.
  • Review and interpret clinical data, lab results, and imaging reports.
  • Collaborate with study monitors and assist in regulatory submissions.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of research data.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical research team members.
  • Participate in recruitment and screening of study subjects.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and ethical guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a focus in Dermatology, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Dermatology preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience; clinical research experience preferred.
  • Current physician license in Ohio.
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving study needs.
