Job Description

Overview

  • Lead psychiatric clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Provide medical oversight and supervision for psychiatry-focused research studies.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, investigators, and regulatory bodies to advance mental health treatments.

  • Mentor and oversee Sub-Investigators and clinical research team members.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide clinical oversight and supervision of psychiatry research studies.
  • Ensure adherence to protocols and participant safety during study procedures.
  • Review psychiatric assessments, lab results, and adverse events for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with study monitors and sponsors for smooth study operations.
  • Support recruitment and screening of participants for psychiatric studies.
  • Mentor and oversee Sub-Investigators and clinical research team members.
  • Provide occasional weekend or after-hours coverage as required.

Job Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) with specialization in Psychiatry, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice; clinical research experience preferred.
  • Current physician license in Ohio required.
  • Strong clinical insight and attention to detail in psychiatric evaluation.
  • Effective leadership and organizational abilities in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and research software.
