Job Description
Overview
- Lead neurology-focused clinical trials, ensuring ethical conduct and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Provide clinical oversight and act as the primary medical authority for neurological research studies.
- Collaborate with sponsors and regulatory entities to maintain study integrity and compliance.
- Supervise and mentor research staff, ensuring proper training and qualifications.
- Interpret neurological assessments, imaging, and lab results for study participants.
- Coordinate subject enrollment and recruitment efforts with the clinical team.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with FDA, GCP, and IRB requirements.
- Provide occasional weekend or after-hours coverage as required by study protocols.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct and oversee all study-related procedures and ensure participant safety.
- Verify the qualifications and training of delegated staff members.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and ensure proper study documentation.
- Review and interpret clinical assessments, imaging, and adverse event reports.
- Collaborate with study monitors and sponsors to support progress and data integrity.
- Supervise and mentor Sub-Investigators, coordinators, and research staff.
- Provide clinical leadership and ensure adherence to study protocols.
- Participate in occasional travel for investigator meetings or training sessions.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice experience in neurology or related fields.
- Current physician license in Ohio is required.
- Strong expertise in neurological evaluation and patient care.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and research management software.
- Effective leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative and dynamic research environment.
