Overview

  • Manage fund accounting and administration for private equity clients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Lead a growing team, ensuring quality control and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with offshore affiliates to coordinate fund administration activities effectively.
  • Enhance technical knowledge of fund structures and accounting issues in private equity.
  • Utilize advanced fund administration technology platforms to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of fund administration engagements, including reporting and cash management.
  • Train and develop team members to meet fund accounting deliverables effectively.
  • Coordinate fund operating activities, including fee calculations and investor funding.
  • Ensure compliance with fund policies and procedures in collaboration with legal teams.
  • Respond promptly to investor requests and maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Assist in the testing and implementation of initiatives to improve fund accounting functions.
  • Manage audit coordination with internal and external auditors.
  • Develop carried interest calculations and waterfall data maintenance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CA preferred.
  • 7+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity, preferably with Big 4 firms.
  • Proficient in fund accounting software such as Allvue, Investran, or E-Front.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills for client and team interactions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in interpreting Limited Partnership Agreements for private equity funds.
