Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee all aspects of fund administration engagements, including reporting and cash management.
- Train and develop team members to meet fund accounting deliverables effectively.
- Coordinate fund operating activities, including fee calculations and investor funding.
- Ensure compliance with fund policies and procedures in collaboration with legal teams.
- Respond promptly to investor requests and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Assist in the testing and implementation of initiatives to improve fund accounting functions.
- Manage audit coordination with internal and external auditors.
- Develop carried interest calculations and waterfall data maintenance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CA preferred.
- 7+ years of fund accounting experience in private equity, preferably with Big 4 firms.
- Proficient in fund accounting software such as Allvue, Investran, or E-Front.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills for client and team interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in interpreting Limited Partnership Agreements for private equity funds.
