Overview
- Contribute to quality assurance efforts within a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and enhancing product reliability.
- Develop and maintain quality management systems, including inspection and testing procedures, to meet ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Design and implement custom inspection tooling and fixtures for accurate measurement of machined components.
- Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) using software like PC-DMIS for dimensional and geometric inspections.
- Perform inspections using precision measurement tools, ensuring conformance to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and analyze quality data to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to guarantee measurement accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in precision inspection tools and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience with CMM programming and operation, including knowledge of GD&T principles.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address quality challenges.
