Job Description

Overview

  • The Mechanical Assembly Technician will assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using technical drawings and specifications.
  • Interpret CAD models and documentation to ensure precise alignment and functionality of assembled components.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency through feedback.
  • Conduct functional testing and troubleshoot assembled systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize standard shop tools and equipment to fabricate, adjust, or modify parts as required.
  • Document assembly processes, changes, and test results accurately for quality assurance.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies per technical drawings and specifications.
  • Interpret CAD models to ensure precise fit and functionality of assemblies.

Job Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and other departments.
  • Experience with shop tools and equipment for part fabrication and adjustment.
