Overview

  • Manage accounting operations for private equity and credit funds, ensuring compliance with industry standards and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with fund administrators to prepare comprehensive financial statements and investor notices.
  • Provide strategic insights into fund liquidity through detailed cash flow projections and analysis.
  • Support audit and tax professionals during year-end reporting to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Assist in regulatory compliance efforts, including adherence to SEC standards and industry best practices.
  • Enhance investor relations by preparing detailed reports and addressing inquiries effectively.
  • Contribute to operational strategy development to optimize fund performance and efficiency.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and on-site collaboration for optimal productivity.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead accounting and financial reporting for private equity and credit funds, ensuring compliance with agreements and standards.
  • Analyze distribution waterfalls and fund IRRs based on legal documentation and financial data.
  • Coordinate with fund administrators for accurate preparation and review of financial statements.
  • Prepare and analyze cash flow projections to support effective liquidity management strategies.
  • Collaborate with audit and tax teams to meet reporting requirements and deadlines efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards, including SEC regulations and industry guidelines.
  • Support investor relations by providing detailed reporting and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and fund performance.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or finance; 8 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in fund accounting and understanding of credit-related financial products.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Knowledge of SEC regulations and compliance requirements advantageous.
