Overview

  • Lead financial operations as the Senior Accountant in a dynamic insurance agency.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and external partners to ensure financial integrity.
  • Hybrid work schedule available after initial on-site training period.
  • Utilize AMS 360 data for accurate reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Contribute to strategic planning through financial analysis and KPI monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain internal controls.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and general ledger activities.
  • Manage billing systems for timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and support tax preparation.
  • Administer employee expense payments and corporate credit solutions.
  • Develop and maintain AMS financials and billing information.
  • Analyze financial trends and KPIs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Present financial reports and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Collaborate with carrier partners, banks, and external auditors.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience; 7 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance agency accounting and carrier billing structures.
  • Proficiency in AMS 360 for financial data management and reporting.
  • Experience with partnership taxes and corporate credit solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills for KPI monitoring and strategic planning.
  • Ability to foster accountability and continuous improvement within teams.
