Overview
- Lead and manage the CVICU nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.

- Conduct hiring, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions for nursing staff.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards within the CVICU department.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of the CVICU department, ensuring efficient workflows.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure proper training and certification of nursing staff in compliance with standards.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for departmental activities and patient care.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts within the nursing team promptly.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Manager, preferably in CVICU.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas is mandatory.
- CPR certification and other department-specific certifications are required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and guide the nursing team.
- Ability to work collaboratively with hospital systems and other departments.
- Proven ability to handle staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation effectively.
