Job Description

Overview

  • Provide expert support for investor-facing technology platforms in a hybrid work environment.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Act as the primary liaison for enterprise technology teams, ensuring effective communication.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to deliver a superior user experience.
  • Support trade-related activities and maintain core trading and risk platforms.
  • Ensure system performance and reliability through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Work closely with brokers, vendors, and internal teams to address order flow challenges.
  • Contribute to innovation and process improvement initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the primary support resource for investors using technology platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client issues, collaborating with internal teams for complex problems.
  • Provide real-time support for trade-related issues during operational hours.
  • Coordinate with brokers, vendors, and trading desks to resolve execution issues.
  • Act as a liaison for enterprise technology teams, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Monitor trading and risk platforms to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with developers to address critical technical challenges.
  • Maintain documentation and provide insights for process improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in technology support within financial services or similar industries.
  • Proficiency in trading systems such as EMSX, Flextrade, or similar EMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of FIX protocol, Linux, and SQL Server is essential.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, GIT, and ServiceNow.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility with work hours and responsiveness to troubleshooting needs.
  • Bonus skills include Python programming and understanding of equities and options.
