Job Description

Overview

  • Collaborate with researchers, analysts, and operations teams to optimize data solutions and drive innovation.
  • Organize and simplify large datasets to enhance data quality and reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for data tooling improvements and innovative data applications.
  • Work in a hybrid environment with three days onsite and remote flexibility.
  • Engage in a fast-paced setting requiring high attention to detail and polished communication.
  • Support firm-wide investment management decisions through analytics and portfolio tools.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop analytics outputs and decision tools for portfolio management and research teams.
  • Participate in data modernization activities for firm-wide projects.
  • Automate data collection, input, and reporting tasks for diverse investment data.
  • Generate portfolio review presentations and manage reporting workflows.
  • Crosstrain with portfolio management, accounting, trading, and reporting teams.
  • Document processes and workflows to improve team efficiency.
  • Deliver data visualization and reporting using enterprise tools like Tableau or Power-BI.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in investment management, financial services, or fintech.
  • Proficiency in Python for data automation and ETL processes.
  • Experience with *nix, Bash, and SQL databases.
  • Strong quantitative, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a high sense of accountability.
  • Preferred experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power-BI.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
