Overview

  • Lead HR operations for a dynamic construction project, ensuring workforce engagement and compliance in a fast-paced onsite environment.
  • Provide strategic HR support tailored to the unique challenges of large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, addressing employee concerns and promoting engagement directly onsite.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR to align field operations with organizational policies and standards effectively.
  • Contribute to workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies for craft labor employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and project-specific labor requirements.
  • Support workforce well-being and operational efficiency through onsite amenities and initiatives.
  • Enhance workforce capabilities through targeted training and development programs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serve as the primary HR liaison for onsite employees, addressing inquiries and providing support effectively.
  • Collaborate with project leadership to deliver strategic HR solutions aligned with workforce objectives.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and workforce engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate HR operations such as onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, and policy interpretation.
  • Ensure adherence to employment regulations and labor requirements in collaboration with corporate HR teams.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes for craft labor employees, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance workforce skills and productivity effectively.
  • Maintain a visible presence onsite to foster positive employee relations and address concerns directly.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience, preferably in field-based or industrial settings.
  • Proven expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workforce management.
  • Experience with craft labor populations and large-scale project environments preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional HR certifications are advantageous.
  • Ability to work onsite in a remote project environment with flexible scheduling.
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance requirements in field operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently while collaborating with remote corporate teams.
