Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct emergency department operations to align with organizational goals and patient care standards.
  • Develop and implement policies to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, fostering professional growth and optimal team performance.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and effective emergency care.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Current RN License in Texas or compact license required.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS within 6 months; TNCC within 18 months; ENPC or CEN within 18 months.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in emergency department operations and multidisciplinary team coordination.
  • Experience in budget management, quality improvement, and physician relationship building.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to foster effective collaboration and team performance.
  • Ability to perform diversified duties with high accuracy under time constraints.
