Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily NICU operations, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards.
  • Monitor patient care quality and implement improvements for optimal outcomes.
  • Lead performance improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor and support nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to align nursing practices with organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in NICU or similar settings.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in healthcare, preferably NICU management.
  • Active RN license in the state of employment or compact licensure.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to implement and monitor performance improvement initiatives effectively.
