Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage engineering teams to deliver impactful software solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Plan and oversee sprints, ensuring scope management and removing blockers for team progress.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
  • Set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, and security practices.
  • Provide technical leadership in architecture decisions and code reviews for sustainable development.
  • Cultivate a supportive and growth-oriented team culture through effective leadership practices.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on shared infrastructure and platform investments.
  • Participate in hiring processes to recruit and retain top engineering talent.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, including 2-3 years in management roles.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks such as React, Next.js, and Node.js.
  • Experience with agile practices, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong technical engagement skills for architecture reviews and code feedback.
  • Familiarity with API-driven architectures and real-time communication platforms.
  • Exposure to AI/ML integration in production environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and develop engineering teams effectively.
