Landscape Architect

Overview

• Lead the design, coordination, and execution of landscape architecture projects with a focus on quality and innovation.
• Collaborate with architecture and interiors teams to ensure project alignment and seamless integration.
• Manage project schedules and deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.
• Navigate municipal submittals and approvals, coordinating with external consultants and partners.
• Develop detailed landscape solutions, including hardscape systems and planting designs.
• Participate in client meetings to understand project vision and priorities.
• Maintain design integrity from concept through construction, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented project culture.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist in leading landscape architecture projects from concept through construction phases.
• Coordinate with architecture and interiors teams to ensure project alignment.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and workflows for consistent execution.
• Develop and document hardscape systems, including paving, walls, and water features.
• Select and document site furnishings, ensuring alignment with design standards.
• Participate in client meetings, presenting design progress and solutions.
• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout all project phases.
• Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and conduct site visits during construction administration.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture Technology or equivalent degree.
• 8+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
• Registered Landscape Architect in Ohio or willingness to obtain licensure.
• Proven experience in project management, team coordination, and client interaction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead design efforts across all project phases.
• Experience working with municipal agencies and approval processes.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external consultants.
• Portfolio showcasing built work and design capability aligned with contemporary architectural language.
